This week’s main news is about the Medieval Party that is gonna take place from 16th to 21st May - sounds as tho CP have a few surprises in store for this one !!! This sets the scene…..

In other news, CP are making changes to our Player Cards so that we can find items easier - it really is a pain trying to find stuff so i think this is a good idea. I expect the cards will be tabbed into categories a bit like the igloo stuff….there is also a rumour that the free CPIP reward item may be given to those who took part this way….hope so, we have been waiting long enough for it!!!
You may also have noticed another change that CP have made - if you send a buddy request to a peng with a full list you will now be notified of this. Not sure if this is a good idea or not - it could be that the peng you send the request to would actually like to be your buddy and would delete someone to add you…now they wont get the chance unless you ask them directly.
Remember those boring looking plant pots that Rockhopper was selling on his last visit? At the time i was disappointed that there was nothing in them but dirt and thought i had wasted my coins buying them. However, when i looked at it today i saw a little shoot starting to grow!!!!!! Wonder what its gonna grow into??? The weird thing is Medner has one too but he cant see his or mine…..really strange….!!!!

I found out the most amazing news!! There is going to be a medieval party on the 16th may!! If you go to the back of the clothing catalog drag down the top pargraph and click on the note. Thanks, to watex’s wordpress for finding this.
Today new Wig and Clothing catalogs were released. The Clothing catalog has a medieval theme with kings, queens, knights and even a dragon!!! Also there is a new job for us penguins - a blacksmith - just buy the brown apron, wear it and you will soon be hammering away at an anvil….The new wigs are not new in style, just in colour - for the boys its the Firestriker which is an orange version of the Sunstriker, and for the girls its the Sidetied Too, which is a brown version of the Sidetided.
CP have also hidden a few items for us to find:
- Click on the dragon’s arm for the crystal staff
2. Click on the emerald princess hat for a wood cutters hat
3. In the wig catalog, click on the blue Spikester for a purple Spikette!
4.Click the eyes of the orange penguin wearing the admril jacket foe the green snorkel.
5.Click the bunny bowtie for the red viking helmet, click it 4 times for the blue viking helmet
6.Click the casual suit jacket for the cheesy tie
Hey penguins its Medner! And guess what, i found the key!! I looked all morning and couldn’t find it! So if you can’t find it, its hidden in the bookroom in the back of his journal. The Captains Quarters is so awesome, there is even a new multiplayer game - Treasure Hunt!! oh and btw the key is a pin if u didnt already know here are some pics =]

i think cp havent finished uploading the key yet because of all the bugs that they are trying to sort out. i was on cp a few mins ago and this is what i found. it is a job to see me so i put an arrow =]
it was even full, sum ppl think the key is under the iceberg! well it was fun anyway!
Yay!!! i love the CP parties and this looks like its gonna be fun! The island has been decorated in an awsum pirate theme and even the Migrator has been decked out to celebrate RH’s return. a parade route has been marked out ready for the pirate parades which hopefully will be led by RH. Dont forget if you are lucky enough to meet RH click on his player card and ask to be his buddy - you will be rewarded with a free RH background!!!

March and April have sure been exciting months on CPIP, but I think May will be just as exciting because that’s when the launch of some NEW features for Club Penguin is planned!
Launching the new servers last week definitely kicked things off in the right direction–they’re stronger than old servers which means we can push them a lot harder and do some new things that wouldn’t have been possible before!
Most of the new features will be launched in May, but I just found out that one will be launched early next week! It’s definitely something a lot of you have been suggesting for a long time and something that we wanted to make sure we did properly.
On Tuesday, April 29 everyone will be able to play Club Penguin in “Big Screen”! When you login to Club Penguin after April 29, you can change the size of Club Penguin by adjusting your browser window size!
This weeks news is dominated by the return of Rockhopper - HURRAY!!! if you visit the beach you will see that he has already landed and the good news is he has brought us all a freebie - a red and black stripe sailor shirt. he has also brought some rare flower pots too which are available to buy for 300 coins:
Rockhopper has also said that he is going to allow us to see his Quarters at long last BUT we are gonna have to find the key first which is gonna be hidden somewhere on the island on 28th April - cant wait!
The party to celebrate Rockhoppers return starts tomorrow and a new pin will also be hidden:

It’s not very often a new room opens in Club Penguin, but I wanted to let you know that a new room will show up sometime next week! It’s supposed to be a big surprise so I can’t say a lot more than that right now. But if you’re on Club Penguin over the weekend you’ll definitely hear about it! ‘
He also gave us a sneak peek of the new room - looks like part of the Migrator to me?
If you look thru the telescope in the lighthouse you will see that Rockhopper is making his way back to CP where he will be reunited with his beloved ship The Migrator! Hope he is bringing some goodies with him!!!

As anticpated the new igloo released today does come with its own backyard complete with lawn….but if you dont want to change your igloo why not bring the outdoors indoors by buying the phony lawn for your flooring? Either way this is a great look for the spring/summer months!!!
The big news this week is that we finally know when Rockhopper will be returning!!! its gonna be on 25th April and to celebrate CP is planning a party -yay i cant wait!!!
Other news is that the clock in the snow forts is broken!!! whats more is that this has affected all the other clocks in CP too - what’s going on ??? do u think this is a genuine malfunction or are CP are planning something - hmm i wonder!
Also, tomorrow sees new igloo and furniture catalogs. This time CP are going for an outdoors/gardening theme and it looks like we are gonna be able to buy grass at last!!! Maybe the new igloo is gonna have its own garden/yard area?
You may remember one of my posts last month telling you about the proposed British version of CP. Well guess what!?! the UK offices are now open and the best bit is they are having a party to celebrate at London Zoo on 3rd may!!! gonna try my hardest to be there!!!

To celebrate the opening of the office, there is a special event planned at the ZSL London Zoo at the beginning of May. For those of you who live in the London area, and want to check it out, here are the details you need to know:

Who: Everyone is invited
What: Free access to the zoo, a chance to feed real penguins, and lots of activities (I heard there might even be a ‘best penguin costume’ contest)’

The eagerly awaited free item for those of us who took part in the CPIP test still isn’t available

Finally the new look CP website and servers have been launched! this is what the new home page looks like:

The new look CP web site is being launched today!!! Can’t wait to see what improvements have been made and also looking forward to claiming my free item for taking part in the CPIP testing. Unfortunatley while the new site is being uploaded we cant play (boo hoo ) but it should be up and running again at 3pm Penguin Standard Time. Here’s the message you get if you try to log in before then:
The Migrator has now been fully restored and is awaiting Rockhopper’s return…..
You can go aboard the ship and down into the hold too - sadly there are no freebies there or any pirate treasure to buy - hopefully Rockhopper may bring some stuff with him when he comes back. Gary the Gadget man has asked us all to help contact Rockhopper by using the Flare Flinger 3000 located at the beach. Lets hope Rockhopper is watching the skies! Don’t forget to keep checking the telescope to look out for any sign of his return.
Finally, Rockhopper’s journal has now dried out and can be found in the book room.
There is an awsum new action/adventure play at the stage - check out the switchboard for classic Indianna Jones style effects like the runaway boulder and collapsing bridges. What i like most about this new play are the fabulous costumes - the new background is pretty cool too. Nice one CP - gonna give u 10/10 for this one!!

This is Medner! The cpip site has been closed. So dont waste your time trying to log on. Also, this is the most exciting part! Club penguin will be giving away a free item for everyone who tested! Nobody knows what it will be, but i will tell you this, im 99% sure it wont be the pink and yellow beta hat. The item will not be available until the new site is launched on 14th April - can’t wait to find out what it will be and how we get to recieve it !!

MAN WAS I FOOLED WHEN I LOGGED ONTO THE TEST SERVER! i lgged on and all i saw were PUFFLES!! Every single penguin was a green puffle!! Hurry up and see for yourself, because Billybob said it will only last from 10 am to 4 pm pst (penguin standard time). Here are some things to impress your friends. Dance, and you will put on the propeller cap and fly. Also if you throw a snowball, you can eats cookie, take a bath, eat normal food, and eat gum. Another thing you should do is walk your puffle! Then there will be two puffles walking together.

Well this is one party that was sure worth waiting for!!! Never seen anything like this before - the CP design team have really turned the island upside down and inside out for this year’s APRIL FOOLS DAY party!!! It was sooooo much fun exploring the island and checking out the different themes and finding the freebies and the new pin…..my favourite place was the dock where you can go super fast - sooooo funny!!! Thought the ice berg was hilarious!!! WELL DONE CP!!!
The freebie items are swirly glasses and the propeller hat (i expect that some of the older pengs wont be happy about this being brought back). Heres where u find them:

I gotta admit i did fall for it for a few moments after some pengs came up to me saying ‘well done you are penguin of the month - u r so lucky! - please add me - u r famous now!’ (should i really own up to that???) NICE ONE CP!!! looking forward to the party tomoz - cant wait to see wot else CP have in store for us…..hope theres gonna be a freebie too! Dont forget theres gonna be a new pin tomoz too……
Guess what!!! Tomorrow, Friday 21st March, Rinkatink is crossing the pond from the UK to the USA….woo hoo!!! The 18 day tour starts off in San Francisco, taking in Yosemite, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon before ending in Florida (Disney World of course!!!).
Sadly this means that i wont be able to play on CP as much as usual and i’m really gonna miss all my buddies :( but i will try to keep in touch with yall by posting Tales from Tinks Tour when i can. Medner will also be doing some posts while i’m away so keep visiting this site to make sure you dont miss out!

Club Penguin are planning on launching a British version and i think that the CPIP test servers may be related to this!!! The British CP HQ will be based in Brighton, England and CP are already advertising job vacancies - how cool would it be to work for CP!!!
This is what CP had to say about the British version:
“When you look at holidays and events, for example, there are things like Guy Fawkes Night which could be a lot of fun in Club Penguin but we’re not able to focus on now because it’s not celebrated in Canada or the United States where the majority of our current users live,” explains Club Penguin’s Lane Merrifield. “In the British version of Club Penguin we’ll be able to customize the world to create localized in-game events as well as providing local community support which will allow us to better protect the interests and safety of our players.”
“Club Penguin has already attracted a significant audience in the UK with its North American service, but we believe there is a real demand in this market for a safe online community destination for children that has local relevance. I noticed that the time on the clock in the snowforts on the test server showed a different time to the clock on the regular servers. i reported this to CP as i wanted to know which clock to use so as not to miss the party which was to start at 4.15pm PST. this is what Billybob had to say:

Well my biggest, most exciting news was the CPIP Test Server Party which has its own post so make sure you take a look at that and dont miss out on the chance to meet billybob, rsnail and screenhog!!!
Apart from that there is of course the St Patricks day party which kicked off today. The island is looking green and there is a parade route marked out starting in the ski village and ending at the forest. The free item is an over-sized leprachaun hat which can be found in the ski village.
A new pin has also been hidden today - it is a book which marks the launch of the new Painting by Letters game earlier this week. It can be found in the boiler room.
The new year book has also been released !!!!
Finally, the Space Adventure has returned to the stage - costumes are same as before but there is an extra item which can be purchased - a space background!!!!

Hey, Hey, Hey !!!! tomorrow, Friday 14th March, sees the start of the annual CP St Patrick’s Day Party and rumour has it that the whole island is turning emerald green!!! Theres sure to be plenty of crac (thats irish for good fun) and maybe some freebies….so cya there!!!
Tomorrow also sees the arrival of another new pin as well as the return of the Space Adventure play to the stage which is back by popular demand apparently - maybe the CP creators just couldn’t think up with a new theme……..i bet we see all the plays making a return now
Last night the test servers were swamped with penguins wearing Beta hats and other rare items…..all of which had been downloaded from a website (which i will not give details of here). The only items which a penguin can wear on the test server are those purchased from the current catalogs so it is obvious who the naughty little penguins are!!! i hope you are not one of them as Billybob had now asked us all to report any penguin seen wearing a rare item on the test server. Those who get reported will face being banned!!!!
Billybob has also let us know that the only “staff” that log into the test server on a regular basis are himself, rsnail, gizmo, and screenhog. So beware of imposters!!!!
Sorry if i’m a bit behind the times with this one but i figured there must be others out there like me that didnt know that there is a hidden iggy in the latest catalog. Its the fish bowl which is quite appropriate for the recent under the sea theme on CP. To get it all you have to do is go the page with the snow globe on and click on the writing - plus its quite a cheap iggy at just 2,400 coins!

If you want to meet the infamous Billybob then nows your chance!!! He seems to be visiting the test servers several times a day and as there are only two you have a good chance of bumping into him….i’ve seen him three times in 24 hours!!! A lot of the other famous pengs are visiting too so you never know who you might see……
In all my excitement about CPIP and the new test servers i almost forgot to write about the new puffle game! Its located in the book room and to access it you have to click on the library and select either of the two new books - My Puffle or Burnt Out Bulbs.
Basically you just have to type in the words to the story as they come up and now and again select from a choice of two or three words to vary the story and add your own touch to it. I found it a bit boring and if you are not that good at typing it would take forever to complete!!! Also, you dont get rewarded with that many coins - i got 50 on My Puffle and 240 on Burnt out Bulbs.
Have a got at it and see wot you think…..who knows you may like it!!!
Everyone who is testing out the new servers is keen to know if there will be some sort of free item (like the old beta hats on the original test site). This is CP’s response is to that question:

There is a glitch on the test server - if you wear the soccer outfit and click your player card you will see that its kinda in the wrong place!!! Take a look at these pics of me and Medner…..lol!!!!
Well i managed to log Rinkatink onto the CPIP test site and visited both of the new servers!!! you start off from scratch with a naked penguin and basic igloo….BUT….they give you 20,000 coins to start off with!!! Woo hoo!!! you have no buddies either so you get to start your list all over which is great fun - i got GATOR360 and NINJANEAL on my buddy list now!!! dont know how long they will keep me on it tho……
Look out for the CP test guides who are wandering around - they will answer your questions and you can add them as your buddies too!!

You may have read my post yesterday about Billybob paying a surprise visit to Frozen. I have since learnt that this may have been the work of a hacker (shock, horror!!!) as the player card did not display the Moderator logo and also it was a bit strange that he was wearing no clothes, hmm…..suspicious if you ask me! If any of you have any information on this i would sure appreciate it, thanx.
As i was editing my iggy today a message popped up saying that i was only allowed 100 items in my igloo……i have not come across this before and was wondering if this is a new thing (to stop the lag maybe?) or whether this has always been the case. Im sure i have been in igloos with more than 100 items in…..sk8rdude4444 has so many items in his you can hardly see yourself!!! let me know if you have any info on this…..thanx
The new Puffle game was supposed to be launched today so i went along to the book room this morning to try it out…..BUT…..it wasnt up and running :( As you can see from this picture i was not the only one expecting to have a go at it - there were a lot of disappointed penguins there - wots going on CP????

As you can see from the photo below taken at 5.53am PST - excitement is already reaching Fever Pitch (lol) - his fans have been gathering all day…….thats a little bit too keen i think…..get a life guys!!!
Well it looks like work on rebuilding the Migrator is well underway…..check out the beach today and you will see that the framework is done….not long before it will be sea worthy once more. Hope Rockhopper is planning a huge party for the re-launch!!!
Hmm, not sure what to make of the new wigs……….the surf knot is ok but when I tried on the Cleo I looked like an OAP (old aged penguin)!!! The silvery bits just looked like grey hairs!!! IMAO the CP design team didn’t do such a good job this time….boo hooo :(

Woot Woot!!! More wigs coming tomoz…..cant wait to find out wot they gonna be like…..my favourite wigs so far are the ones released in the last catalog, the sunstriker for guyz and the flutterby for galz. I can’t imagine how CP are gonna top those. Maybe they’re gonna go for something a bit more wacky this time???
CP are planning another fun filled party in celebration of St Patrick’s day…..hope there are gonna be some freebies!!!!!! Last year they gave away the fab green leprechaun hat…..
Hey guys, this is exciting news - CP are launching another new game on Monday!!! From what i’ve read its gonna be located in the Book Room above the Coffee Shop and will involve puffles but its not gonna be an action type game and may involve books?!?
